Tigers’ Miguel Cabrera wins MLB Triple Crown – Why nobody cares?

Congrats to Detroit Tigers’ third baseman Miguel Cabrera for being the first major leaguer in 45 years to win MLBs Triple Crown and it seems like people don’t understand how great this was; do you understand that this has not been done in 45 years….45 years! Only 14 other players had completed this feat and among them are Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams and Lou Gehrig. Cabrera finished the season with 44 home runs, 139 RBIs and a .330 batting average. The last Triple Crown winner was Boston’s Carl Yastrzemski in 1967. Well, if nobody else gonna give the recognition that he deserves, then I will be happy to do so for a tremendous player who did “the damn thing”.

Congrats Miguel!
