Harden breaks a Rockets’ record

James Harden

Wednesday night James Harden set a Rockets franchise record for consecutive games scoring at least 25 points (14 games) surpassing Moses Malone  (They still lost to the New Orleans Hornets).  The Houston guard had another big performance on Tuesday night in a home win over the Lakers. Harden scored a game-high 31 points for the Rockets as he was 11 of 19 from the field and 1 of 4 from 3-point range over 40 minutes. Harden also dished out nine assists in the game as he added six rebounds.  Harden is averaging 29.6 PPG.  He’s remained consistent with his scoring average and is also passing the ball extremely well. He’s also averaging two 3-pointers per game on the year.

I have to say I was alright with Harden going to the Rockets because I thought the Thunder would still have enough to muscle through the playoffs; I might have to reconsider that stand.
