Seahawks trade QB Matt Flynn to the Raiders

MAtt Flynn - Seahawks

The Raiders have had 15 different quarterbacks in the last decade. Since their last winning season in 2002; let’s add one more to this list.

It is reported that Seattle has dealt backup quarterback Matt Flynn to the Oakland Raiders for late-round picks in the 2014 and 2015 NFL Drafts.

Flynn signed a $26 million contract with the Seahawks before the 2012 season, but was beaten out for the starting job by rookie Russell Wilson. The latter held on to the job the entire season and developed into a star in the NFL.

Carson Palmer - Raiders

More trades are apparently in the works as the Raiders are working on dealing 2012 starting QB Carson Palmer to the Arizona Cardinals for a late-round selection.
