The Massachusetts Law Enforcement has identified and captured all of the alleged suspects in a case against former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.
Ernest Wallace, the third suspect in the Odin Lloyd slaying investigation, has been captured, the Massachusetts State Police confirmed Friday. Wallace, 41, was apprehended in Miramar, Fla.
Earlier Friday, Massachusetts officials told the Associated Press that law enforcement had recovered a 2012 Chrysler 300 linked to Wallace.
On Wednesday, Hernandez was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Lloyd. The prosecution noted Hernandez had reached out to two men hours before Lloyd’s death, though their names weren’t released at the time. The two are identified as Wallace and 27-year-old Carlos Ortiz. Ortiz, arrested in Connecticut on Wednesday, has been extradited to Massachusetts.
Meanwhile, Hernandez, who is also being investigated in connection with a 2012 double-killing, has been denied bail (because of the seriousness of the conviction), which means he will remain behind bars until his trial.
