This Football Saturday will change the BCS standings DRASTICALLY

Shattering the Standings - NCAAFB

This was a very interesting and entertaining college football Saturday.  There was a lot of Top 10 upsets which means there will some movement in the standings,

Tennessee Volunteers defeats #11 South Carolina Gamecocks –  Vols kicker Michael Palardy made a 19-yard field goal as time expired Saturday for a 23-21 victory over the Gamecocks that ended the Volunteers’ 19-game losing streak against ranked opponents.  The loss may have proved doubly painful for South Carolina, which had a four-game winning streak snapped. Quarterback Connor Shaw left the game with a sprained knee after being sacked by Marlon Walls and Daniel McCullers with less than five minutes remaining.

Vandy stuns #15 Georgia with a fabulous comeback –  Vanderbilt Commodore’s head coach James Franklin has his first upset of a Top 25 opponent and doing so most likely shuts down the Bulldogs chances for another trip back to the SEC Championship game.  Jerron Seymour ran for a 13-yard touchdown with 2:53 left, and Vanderbilt rallied from a 13-point deficit by scoring 17 unanswered points in the fourth quarter Saturday for a 31-27 victory.

Auburn won a thriller over the Aggies –   Tigers QB Nick Marshall accounted for four scores and #24 Auburn battered Johnny Manziel in the Tigers’ 45-41 upset of No. 7 Texas A&M on Saturday. Auburn running back Tre Mason‘s 5-yard score with less than 2 minutes to play was first placed at the 1, but it was reviewed and ruled a touchdown.  Auburn didn’t win a single Southeastern Conference game last season.
